Hospitals and healthcare systems must find ways to reduce costs without reducing the quality of care. Optimum Healthcare IT has created a program to stay ahead of the curve of these ever-changing technology systems.
As CEO Jason Mabry said, “We try to take an innovative approach to a commodity type business. We spend a lot of time trying to figure out what is going to bring value to our clients.”
Recently, they released a program called Clearsense that ties multiple systems together in order to understand a patient’s full electronic medical record and report outcomes in real time. Optimum Healthcare IT saved a client $3.9 million a year by switching over to Clearsense, which combined the data from the old systems into one place.
“If you can incorporate technology into healthcare to save lives or help doctors, that’s where technology becomes important in today’s society,” said Gene Scheurer, executive chairman of Optimum Healthcare IT. “To impact that many people through IT is a mission for us and everyone that works for this company. Healthcare, for us, is personal.”
After building and testing Clearsense, it’s now available on the market. “I see it growing exponentially over the next decade, and we’re really excited about it,” said Scheurer.
